Columbia University’s Global Freedom of Expression initiative welcomes you to the launch of an Arabic language version of their case law database. The database features a selection of analyses of landmark rulings on freedom of expression from around the world as well as analyses of court decisions from the MENA regional that address digital rights.  The session will include a demo of the database, discussion of selected cases and an opportunity for participants to explore the database. We hope participants will share information on important court decisions from their countries as well as what legal trends they see emerging.
