The session will start with a brief introduction of the session and then a brief presentation of the Principles of a Feminist Internet (https://feministinternet.org/) - about 20- 25 minutes. Once the presentation is done, the facilitators will ask participants to brain storm some of the issues they or others face on the internet (ie online harassment, lack of access to information, privacy and consent...etc.). Participants will then add their issues on to a board and briefly explain what some of these issues. (30 mins) Once these issues have been discussed, participants will have the opportunity to work within groups or as individuals to produce some alternative solutions to these issues and present them to the group (30 mins).
The workshop works best with maximum 15 participants.
